IT Growth Strategies was founded by Mike Dalton, Simon Hember and Chris Batten in 2011 in order to provide strategic consulting services to the IT industry and predominantly the IT security sector. The focus of these services is on assisting:
- Foreign businesses that want to establish a presence in the Europe, the Middle East or Africa (EMEA)
- Established businesses that want to improve their performance.
IT Growth Strategies provide clients with consultants that have track records of success in relevant markets and disciplines. They have all held senior positions within EMEA-based IT vendors. We can provide consultants with backgrounds in: sales – both direct and channel, marketing, finance, HR, legal, operations and technical.
During his five years as President, Mike led all sales, marketing and business operations for the region, with responsibility for all markets from consumer and OEM through SMB to large enterprise and government customers.
Mike joined the company in July of 1998 and held a variety of management positions including Vice President and General Manager for the UK, Ireland and South Africa; Vice President of telesales; Channel Director, and Retail Manager.
Mike has more than 20 years’ experience in European and US markets and has held a variety of sales, marketing, and product management positions.
Simon is Director of Business Development at IT Growth Strategies. He has a wealth of experience working with large public companies, as well as numerous small to mid-sized organisations with private equity backing.
As a renowned executive search consultant he has led numerous leadership searches, as well as CEO succession and board assignments for leading technology companies.
In 1998 Simon Founded Acumin Consulting, the leading information risk management recruitment consultancy with an established presence across EMEA and the US.
Simon also co-founded the Risk & Network Threat Forum (RANT), an established C level professional networking community based in London.
Chris has spent the last 15 years promoting the professionalisation of the IT Security industry.He has a deep understanding of the key challenges facing today’s IT Security professionals and the most effective routes to market for IT Security Vendors.
This knowledge has been gained by co-ordinating regular initiatives with IT Security and Risk Management trade associations since 1998.
Chris currently chairs the Critical Security Solutions Initiative, which helps identify the most innovative and useful technologies to bring to market. He is a published author of go-to-market modules for the C-View Technologies, Genesis platform and a regular trade press contributor on go-to-market and reseller challenges.
